VA FINANCING

A VA home loan is a benefit available to service members, veterans, and eligible surviving spouses to assist them with homeownership and offers up to 100% financing.

To Qualify for a VA loan you will need a certificate of eligibility (COE) issued by the department of veterans affairs. The following documents will be required.

  • If you are a Veteran, Current or former National Guard or Reserve member– A copy of you DD214
  • If you are on active duty – a copy of your most recent LES Statement
  • If you are a surviving spouse – a completed  VA form 26-1817 and a copy of the veterans DD214

Five facts about FHA Loan

A VA loan is a mortgage backed by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Va loans do not have annual mortgage insurance premium or prepayment penalties. It does have a funding fee that may be financed of up to 2.15% for first time VA users and up to 3.30% for repeat users.

Veterans, active duty military and eligible surviving spouse can receive up to 100% financing to purchase or refinance a home.

You can have two VA loans at the same time, as long as the max entitlement is not exceeded and you meet certain requirements.

You can REUSE the VA loan benefit.
